Offerres Individuis a dynamic group of people engaged in relief and rescue operations, calls unto your kind hearts for donations of cash or in kind to help the victims of the super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

Offerres Individuis just succesfully completed the First Relief and Medical Attention Mission in Guian Eastern Samar last November 15-19 2013.

This group will be going to Hernani and nearby barangays in Eastern Samar this weekend November 23, 2013.

We would like to ask for donations of the following:

Food Items: biscuits/crackers, breads, easy to open canned goods, ready to eat ulams, bottled water.

Non-Food Items: used clothes, unused/new undergarments, sanitary napkins, toothpastes, toothbrushes, bath soaps, laundry soaps, candles, matchsticks.

Medical Supplies: Basic Medicines, WATER PURIFYING TABLET (VERY IMPORTANT or HIGH PRIORITY), Bandages, Cotton Balls, Betadine / Agua Oxenada

Carpentry Tools: Hammers, Nails, Wood Saw, Shovel.

Monetary Donations to be used for: Vehicles Petrol, Transportation (Roro, etc.).

All your donations will be accounted for and will surely go directly to the victims!

Anyone from Calbayog and Catbalogan who can assist a group of doctors who will be providing medical services in Samar (Basey, Calbayog, Catbalogan)? Anyone that can provide written instructions to the team on what to do once We need someone to meet some doctors at Calbayog airport tomorrow at 6.30am tomorrow (Thursday) and possibly guide and transport them to Catbalogan and then Basey. Or give him written instructions on how to get from Calbayog to Catbalogan, where he’ll meet up with a convoy coming in with other doctors from Manila. I’m Dr Darby Santiago of UPCM. My group, S.O.S, will be leaving PGH by land at 1pm today. They are headed for Basey, Samar. Dr Maya Santos and myself will be flying to Calbayog at 530am tomorrow. Arriving there 630. We’re planning to wait for the convoy at Catbalogan Gen Hospital so we can bring relief medicines there and help out while waiting. Do you have people in the Calbayog to Catbalogan are who can assist us? We’re not familiar with the place. Pwede rin written instructions na lang kung paano kami kikilos pagdating dun. The Catholic Medical Mission Board is calling for donations for mobilizing medicines and medical supplies for victims of Typhoon Yolanda.

“In response, Catholic Medical Mission Board is acting quickly to mobilize medicine and medical supplies for victims. In fact, medicine and supplies valued at over $4M including essential meds (antibiotics, anti- diarrheal and wound care) along with medical supplies (gloves, masks, bandages, splints, fluids, saline, etc) are being prepared for shipment this week.”

Gem Muzones is collecting relief goods for Sara, Iloilo. There are 3,887 damaged houses, 14,872 affected person, and 5,402 affected families in Sara.

The call is for: ready-to-eat food, medicine, old tarpaulins, mats and blankets, hygiene kits, bottled water, pre-loved clothes, and old toys for kids. Cash is also welcome for shipping expenses.

Private planes are making trips to Guiuan and Ormoc. Donations may be brought to the Alphaland Hangar, Airport Road, Pasay City. 24 hours a day. They are making a call for medicines as well.

1. Paracetamol (tabs for adults and syrup for young children)
2. ORS (oral rehydration solution)
3. Amoxicillin (tabs for adults and syrup for children)
4. Betadine solution
5. Antifungals for fungal skin infections
6. other pain meds like Ibuprofen
7. Iron and folate tablets for pregnant women
